Such a shame about Adams, he's an AFL quality player but persistent injuries just keep having him starting from scratch every few months

Foot injuries seem to be one area that the medicos struggle to solve. It's not a good sign for him this has lingered over 4 years now.

He's done well to carve out 250 games - that's quite an effort, even if much of them has been with a struggling club.

Was a terrific performer in our 2008,09,10 finals campaigns and I was so disappointed to lose him. For me, he undoubtedly played his best football at the kennel through 2009 & 2010 - and whilst being a solid performer at the Suns - never quite reached the heights of his last two seasons with us again.

And not to be 'kicking' him, because I like Harbrow - but he had a 57% winning strike rate at the dogs (40 from 70), and went up North to win only 26% of the time (47 from 179) at the Suns.

Agree with this but his best footy has to be a symptom of playing with a good side. He's never really had that at GC.

Had he stayed with us (and reached 250), he would have been widely recognised as a good player. Unfortunately for him (and maybe even us), it's not really the case now.

I think I've forgotten how good he was for us - sort of assumed he improved at the Suns. In 2010 he had 499 disposals and 8 Brownlow votes - both career highs.

I was also disappointed that he left us but I was also surprised that from a supporters perspective he sort of went with our blessings
but we were very harsh on Ward when he left us.

I know there was a view that Harbrow was 'going home' but from memory the family was in Cairns and he wasn't interested in going to Brisbane.

Good luck to him though, 250 games is a great achievement

I remember one of the Rocket prelims, might have been 2008 v Cats he was outstanding might've even snagged a couple of goals that night. (I've erased most of it from memory).
I was sad to see him go at the time, good to see he's made a decent career for himself.

Not me, because I knew his father's side was from Mooroopna - my mother-in-law knows his grandfather on that side of the family, plus Cairns is such a long way from Brisbane - so family reasons was rubbish. I knew he was going for the cash and lifestyle I guess. We should have stitched him up early, like we should have Ward.

Anyway, all past history, good luck to him in his 250th

If my memory serves me correct I felt he had a tendency to spray the ball a fair bit. Although like the fact he took game on. Good luck Cameron in your 250th.

Players have such relatively short careers I suppose we should not criticize them for trying to earn as much as they can.

On other hand that's why we love loyal players like Wally And Libba.

Is that a nickname I'm not aware of?
