Yep - happy to see Roughy playing well. One of the genuinely good guys in football.

Re: Following our ex's...................
Roughead still had 3 kicked on him, his speed and awareness let him down as a defender
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Very harsh on Rough.
Lynch’s first goal was a very dodgy Razor free against Langdon for pushing Lynch in the side.
His other 2 goals were a direct result of easy midfield clearances where Lynch was hit lace out with Roughy right on his hammer. At worst Rough could’ve been slightly closer to Lynch with his second but the goal against was hardly Roughy’s doing.

Higgins was on the radio yesterday. Made my ears bleed. Guy is a flog.
I also can't fathom the framing of his form post trade as sign we made a mistake. We won a flag immediately after letting him go.

You'd struggle to find many Dogs fans who think 'geez, I wish we kept Higgins'. It was time for both parties to move on, and the subsequent results suggest it was for the best.
We've slowly weeded out the players who caused me the most hair pulling moments (Higgins, Stringer, Adams, Dahl for example) so I'm pretty thankful
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Re: Following our ex's...................
It's interesting when you look but on those past players and to be honest I don't miss any of them.
I grateful for the little things Stringer did to help us win the final and Dahl's 1%ers also helping us get into the finals but the other two always injured at our club and both showed so much but offered so little.

Higgins was played as a defender by BMac, I don't blame him for wanting out. Clearly vindicated in his insistence he is best as a mid/fwd. We do miss him but the compensation was OK

I disagree. We don't miss him at all.

I agree......he’s a gun and a walk up start to any side going around.
We had a bad mix of personnel under Eade and BMac, I reckon if Higgins had have stayed he’d have been a different player than the one he was under those two coaches.

A few Bulldog people on Twitter upset with Dahlhaus and what he said after the game today. Did anyone catch it?
Found it, see next post

This is appalling from Dahlhaus, glad he is gone.

So he really was ‘unmotovated’.
If he had lost his passion for playing for the Club it’s just as well we didn’t give him the extra year he was after.
I don’t have any ill feelings for him. He gave his all to us for many seasons. Just a shame that he had to end up at Geelong.

Can you point to a particular point you find egregious? I don't really want to watch the interview with him to find it TBH.
