Or maybe Neale and Lyon's relationship was allowed to become so strained that Neale said "*!*!*!*! it" and walked.

Word on the street is that Kersten and Neale did not get along.

    Like, at all.

It's going to sit beautifully with Ross and co. when Neale scoops up a Brownlow at year's end, I'm sure.

Mr Lore and I tried to put together a side of currently-playing ex-Dogs this week (yes, we need to get out more). Our team was very heavy on defenders.

And the only ones we wanted back were Hamling, Roughie, Harbrow and Ward.

I'd have Jones back before Roughie I think based on pure footballing ability.

Fair enough, I just love Roughie

I'm really sad he's not still around the club. Clearly his unconscious still feels the same way.

I imagine relationships will be repaired for the first premiership reunion he attends

Some sad news for Liam Jones with his mother passing away suddenly. He'll miss the trip to Perth.

Yep, I feel for him. Losing a parent is hard. I know I lost my dad a couple of years ago and even though we knew it was coming and had plenty of time to say goodbye and get used to the idea it still knocked me around more than I wanted to admit it at the time.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

His team mates will also miss the tip to Perth.

Condolences to Liam and his family and friends.

Stringer has been on media street the last week or so.

Damn he is a good footballer.

Saw a little bit of the last quarter last night, Higgins is the gun footballer we hoped he would be too.

We knew both were guns but Higgins was injury prone and Stringer wasn’t fully committed, a gamble with Higgins but not so much stringer as we couldn’t afford to have that disruption if you want a good culture.

Yes he was definitely the difference-maker against ... the Gold Coast Suns.

If nothing else he's certainly got his vein-popping celly down pat if he ever kicks the sealer in a granny.

Stringer is slowly on the improve. He does seem to be popping up and having his moments more often now. But I also agree that the quality of opposition has generally been poor. Because of his history and the kind of x factor he has he will always be pumped up by the sympathetic Essendon media cheerleaders. They will turn to water come finals, and I believe despite recent recruitments lack the midfield grunt to ever be a contender.
