Interesting first quarter. Didn’t think the Dees were that bad (except moving the ball into the forward line) but are 30-0 down. Carlton playing well

Blues putting Melbourne to the sword in the first quarter.

Quarter time Blues 5 goals straight, Demons yet to score.

A grown man saying 'eye diddle diddle' instead of middle really creeps me out.

Footy as a spectacle these days is largely boring.

Footage of every player on the ground being in the same 50m arch is just so congested and ugly.

Melbourne’s delivery into the forward 50 tonight is reminiscent of us. Terrible

Needs to be a 16 v 16 game. Open it up more. Players are way too fit and cover more ground than in the good old days.

I have a confession to make. I don't hate Carlton and never really have. Out of those big clubs growing up if I had to choose one it would have been them.

That was a shocker of a decision against Van Rooyen. Would have made it a 14 point game!

I didn't expect Melbourne to fight back like that. Great contest.
