Callan Ward doing his knee is like finding out the car you sold last year just blew the motor. Phew lucky I don't have it anymore!
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

Re: Following our ex's...................
Liam Jones is playing his role to perfection at the moment. His reading of the play and ability to zone off is impressive. Would easily slot into our back 6, IMO. Ah well, the little bloke we drafted with the pick we got for him is ok I guess.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Yep. Booing a premiership player who left with our blessing doesn't sit well with me at all. Was he supposed to give up the game because we no longer wanted him?

Is it a contract renewal year for him? His form seems to magically return when it is.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Still got a soft spot for LJ - he committed a howler against us on a Friday night last year and all I could think was 'oh Liam..' (I would normally laugh maniacally at such a moment)
How was that mark not paid to him late in the game yesterday?

Re: Following our ex's...................
I was under the impression Jordan was offered a contract - albeit probably unders - was this not the case?
I wouldn't boo him, he's a good human along with being a Bulldog legend. But if he was offered a contract and chose to go elsewhere, I'm ok with the 'theatre' of booing him.
Having said that, I thought Collingwood fans booing of Trav Cloke was pretty foul......

Re: Following our ex's...................
Travis Cloke kicked 1.7 for Tyabb on the weekend (and won the $1,000 draw - donated it back).
Adam Cooney did a hammy in his first game for Spotswood.

They don’t have soft floors at the Spotty club rooms?

He decided midway through the season that he would look elsewhere. The club didn't fight that hard to keep him (even helping him search for a club, apparently), but he decided to leave.

I'm not 100% sure but I think there eventually there was an offer put in front of Roughead but the offer from Collingwood was superior and runs to the end of 2020. Booing players in my opinion is pretty poor form and especially ones that have played for us but I acknowledge there are a high portion of supporters that all most live for it

Good old Aker, some things just never change!
Being a member of a club in Melbourne I know that some members can be a bit tricky to deal with, but, this is Aker to a tee in my view. It reads like an excerpt from his first book which out of what must have been an act of self loathing narcissism I actually read.
