There's that book too. 50 Shades Of Grey.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Without getting into the debate because I think there's been more than a few well reasoned posts in this thread, the thing that makes me sad is that there's a great divide between humanity now. Government has created an us vs them mentality when it comes to those who are vaccinated and those who are not.
The fact that we have a group of people (vaccinated) discriminating against others (unvaccinated) is putrid behaviour. I'm vaccinated, but I couldn't care less if somebody decided they didn't want to be. It's their decision; it doesn't impact me and theoretically I'm protected (if you believe that).
I hate that the government creates the wedge and walks away without any real accountability, but I'll watch with interest when we hit mid next year with sky high cases and the dreaded 'L' word being thrown around. Wonder if those who have supported the government will still hold the same view?
Regardless, what happened to actually being humane?
If you're somebody pointing the finger at others, perhaps know that you're not entitled to be 'right' - try walking a mile in somebody elses shoes before judging their decisions.
I see Singapore is making non-vaccinated people soon have to pay for their own medical bills. Not saying it is a good thing, just a fact.
A country that has very high vaccination rates, above 90% now having a wave comparable to last year. Scary to think of Victoria or parts of Australia yet again.
Holland, thought they had it under control, now about to go into a three week partial lock-down.
We have a blood rule in AFL. And it’s not just for the benefit of the person bleeding. Is it inhumane to send the bleeding person off?
Just reading Liam Jones was offered a spot on the inactive list and still declined it.

Singapore is at 82.7%. Their issue is over 60s are reluctant to get vaccinated.

As with most people here, I have some OPINIONS about Covid and mandates etc, but as far as a thread goes, this one has run so far off track it’s lost in an abyss and the other threads have put out a missing thread report.
There’s conspiracy threads on the internet about what happened to this thread…

Jason Akermanis' heartache after discovering secret second family
Former AFL star Jason Akermanis has opened up about his troubling upbringing as a teenager, revealing the man he believed was his father as a child was not who he thought he was.
In a revealing interview for the Daily Mail over the weekend, Akermanis revealed that when he was 14 years old, his mother informed him the man who he had believed was his father was not.
Better?
(Disclaimer: I just typed Jason Akermanis into Google for the purposes of this thread, Don't @ me)
Wake me up when we get to heaven, let me sleep if we're going to hell
Good luck, for your sake I hope heaven and hell are really there, but I wouldn't hold my breath

Corrected for accuracy.
The covid vaccines were never tested for transmission and infection. They are "leaky vaccines".

Lots of data has come out in real world application showing they reduce the spread

Re: Following our ex's...................
I think the pandemic is a special case in the debate over freedom, community impact and personal choice
It's so contagious and so deadly that governments rightly enacted emergency powers to protect us as a whole. The nature of disease spread, vaccination and herd immunity is that we can't just leave it up to the individual to choose. A 30 year old that knows he will probably be fine if he gets it, and doesn't worry about getting vaccinated, is aiding and abetting a virus to kill his 80 year old grandmother
That's not to say governments got everything right with lockdown and vaccination. I read we lost around 50 soldiers in the 20 year war in Afghanistan, but 500 have taken their own lives since. The mental health impact of lockdowns and our altered lifestyles is silent and understated

While I think the antivaxers are selfish and cowardly personally , the medical segregation that's going on probably isn't the answer. Not everyone is going to take a bullet for their nanna(term that is fitting imo) and I guess thats the world and the people with live in/with.
The curse is dead.

If Nanna is high risk, she should already be vaccinated and therefore protected, no?

My vaccination status would impact on every person I come contact with. Less likely to get it, have it severely and pass it on.
I respect your right not to get vaccinated mate, I just dont agree with it. But people shouldn't be forced and at the end of the day only 5% won't/wouldn't and they are just going to have to deal with any long standing health effects they get.
