We don't have a position on the list but I'd consider it. It's very unlikely though.
Would need to make sure he is fully committed.

Which today are you talking about? The one that just happened or one from ages ago?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

He would fit in at Fullback, no probs.

For sure, he's still got some good football ahead of him if he changes his stance.
Imagine a vaxed Jones being in a pool of players the clubs could draw in if they have lost players via Covid.
He would be in high demand.

Isn't he just on Carlton's 'inactive list'. My interpretation has been that it's just like the long term injury list - if he gets vaccinated, they would activate him. I don't think he could join another club.

I don't believe so. At the time he retired and he is off the list.

Ah yes you're right - could have easily googled before spouting my own thoughts and interpretations. But that's not what the internet is for!!!
From the Age last year:
"There is one last list lodgment on Monday, November 29, ahead of the national draft. Jones can be removed from the list then, in which case he would not be included in next year’s playing list or salary cap.
Clubs may be able to terminate a player’s contract after May 18 if they remain unvaccinated. Before then they can be moved to the inactive list, as happened with Adelaide’s dual AFLW premiership player Deni Varnhagen, who is a registered nurse."

And don't you bloody forget it. BAD has nothing else to do anyway, so we may as well just leave the fact checking up to him.

Heh! It's so cute that you think BAD looks this stuff up and doesn't just make it up as he goes along.

Re: Following our ex's...................
Interesting to see Jackson Trengove has recruited Kyle Dunkley to Barooga where he has taken over as coach. Seems Kyle has given up on the AFL at a young age, but maybe that's what spending time at Essendon does.

Brian Lake at his peak would fit into our team pretty nicely at the moment.

Well the shirt still fits !
He would indeed. The master of closing space quickly and using his body to buffet players off balance in the air.
That Riewoldt incident still burns.
