Ward - our mistake, we undercooked an offer and paid the price. He's had a great career.

Dunkley - some handsome idiot around here wanted him gone on the proviso we used his departure as an opportunity to change the mix in the middle. Ironically (possibly Alanis irony, not sure) we became more homogenous in the middle once he left....which is almost impossible but we did it anyway. No ill regards from me.

Lipinski - given every chance and sooked about having to concentrate on his pace to make it with us. Fair play to him finding a spot at Collingwood.

Young - the narrative was he was unfairly treated, but as a defender we couldn't trust we tried everything we could to put him in the side even playing him as ruck relief in a final. As MJP says, they're relatively the same as they were with you, wherever they go.

But sincerely, good luck to all of them.

Was more so just pointing out our exs, and conceivably if there’s an injury to a Carlton defender, we could have an ex in every prelim team. That would be a rare thing you’d think.

Dunkley vs Ward could be a good match up this week.

Lipinski hasn’t changed, I’ve talked to a few pies supporters and they seem to think he isn’t up to it. Just an average AFL player.
He is a good link player but the pies have the two daicos boys and he won’t ever be a regular while they are there .

He did well for them last year and has had some injury absences this year and coupled with an exceptionally performed side means spots are harder to command. Collingwood supporters I know seem happy enough with him.

He wasn't a walk up best 22 type with us and that isn't going to change with the top of the table Pies side.

From what I’ve heard is Melton Sth will come good next year , apparently they gave up spending anything this year and have saved it all to finally get the club in a good position. They knew they would be horrid this year and they only way they could get out of the mess they were in was to do it this way.
Be interesting to see how they go in 2024.

What is it with modern day sportsmen/women and dress ups? Funny for 5 seconds.

I guess...maybe....they're doing it to have fun with their mates? And not to entertain the masses?

I saw there were Hawks supporters having a crack at Tom Mitchell for wearing a Hawthorn jumper to mad Monday, thinking he was taking the p155 out of them...but turns out he was dressed as Finn maginness and putting a hard tag on Nick Daicos.

Mad Monday dress ups is pretty low on my list of things I care about.
