Re: Following our ex's...................
Just flicked onto the Gold Coast v Adelaide game and saw one J Grant kick his 2nd goal. Is this his first game of the year? (after his injury). Anyone see how he has gone today?

Kicked 7.1 this year and averaging about 12 touches in a team being slaughtered.

Re: Following our ex's...................
Thanks for the updates on Grant. Didn't realise he had come back from his injury a few weeks ago.
7.1 is a decent return for the year. Could do with him tomorrow

Carlton fans are still spewing they let Josh Kennedy go too. Every club makes a howler on a gun key forward I guess, good point you make.

Re: Following our ex's...................
We haven't made just one howler when it comes to letting players go. One year two of our ex players tied for the Brownlow. It was the year after another ex player won it, we let him go because he couldn't run around the ground enough times at training. It was about the time the bloke who won a Brownlow while playing with us left to go to another club.
Funnily enough the Brownlow medalist leaving us made us a better team. We didn't have him to rely on anymore to win a game for us with a half of blistering football. We had to recruit other players to play a role.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

And Liam Jones is headed to his first double digit disposal game in two years with 4 handballs to nearly half time.

Re: Following our ex's...................
I'm not sure how to report this. Jones got 12 touches which is his best return since Round 13 2014 (which was 16). But it was his equal worst kicks per game (3) and marks per game (1) for Carlton.
In a young team of 29 players playing this year for Carlton. He's ranked 25th for disposals (& only 6 effective touches a game) and 25th for dream team scores out of the 29 Carlton players. 23rd for tackles and 23rd for marks. Has not yet registered a goal assist. I wonder if he's working hard enough?

He must be close to leading their goalkicking though. What's he kicked a total of 3 goals?

8 goals in 5 games. That's quite poor, but it's his actual career best average. Thank God he's not with us or I'd have to enter that in the career best thread.

Damn it, I was ready to congratulate Carlton colleagues on Liam hitting double figures. His team mates must have got around him for cheap hand balls to get him over the line. This isn't malicious just humorous! It's been a running joke across offices in a couple of States.
