Re: Following our ex's...................
Sad to see spindles end like this. He played some good footy with us in 2015 and was delisted. GC are a shit team and he couldn't find himself in their best 22. Poor bloke. I think he is a confidence player and when we delisted him it affected him a lot.
I wish him well in his future endeavours.
They've done studies you know, 60% of the time, it works every time!

He put out a pretty funny tweet about it too.
"Now available for all functions, events karaoke etc".
I'll pay that.

He played 60 odd games and that's about 3 years of playing in the seniors total. Throw in all the reserves games he played and that's 6 or 7 years on the list. With 3 years on GC's list that's a ten year career. Say you average 350k a year that's 3.5 mil.
I do feel sorry for him but that thought has gotta brighten his day.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I left him for Zaine a long time ago. Keep up with things TD!
In our Night Premiership Season of 2010 Grant kicked 29.17 with Barry Hall next to him. So he had it in him to succeed. And he possesses the best and most successful look away handball I've ever seen. His final year in a new role was serviceable. But for whatever reason Jarrad just couldn't perform consistently despite the natural talent, which is a shame for him and us. But all the best to him.

Jarrad Grant is the walking, talking epitomising example of the fact that talent alone can get you onto an AFL list but you need determination and persistance to succeed.

Re: Following our ex's...................
If Clayton wasn't stupid enough to pick him in the top 5 all those years ago, his career would have ended a lot earlier. Good luck to him, hope he makes some dough in the local leagues.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

I can't and won't confirm or deny last night that through my tears I singing Bon Jov's 'Always', Cindi Lauper's 'Time after Time' and Eric Carmen's 'All By Myself'.
Maybe we should recruit him back. He's changed, and for better.

We'll always have late-2013, Jarrad. And that one time he kicked 6. That was tight.
Nice little easter egg in there too; skip to 2:16 if you want to see someone else's career end.
