    Jesse Hogan

Interesting rumour tonight on AW that young Jesse's been spruiking about going home .
Apparently wants a big contract ala T Boyd . Stay tuned, could be another interesting off season

Wow that's pretty interesting if true.

However, I think you could bank on the media running a story like this once the Boyd deal was done. Whether or not it is actually coming from Hogan would be interesting.

Not that it matters, but the Hogan situation is slightly different. He is contracted for a further two years - until end of 2017.

One more year of contract? I suppose it makes a bit of difference but not huge.

He's already on a decent amount too, isn't he?

Your first two years are a set wage, the wage is determined by what draft pick you go at, like Boyd his big money will not start to be paid until next year, after his first two years are finished.

Freo or WCE would need to offer overs like in our situation. Our best player and captain and pick 6 in a strong draft, plus wages. What could they offer?

I believe this is his third year, given he was a mini draft selection.

Jesse has had a massive change of personality if he is spruiking anything. He might want to come home - no waves in Melbourne - but can't imagine him talking about it.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Ours was different, Griffen was the one that wanted out not the KPF
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Boyd wanted out of GWS as well. There are two sides to every trade.

Unless you get a cyclonic southerly you're right. No sharks though

Really? Imagine he'd be well served down Torquay way, better than Margaret River in any case.

WA beats the pants off Victoria if he likes to fish though.

GWS had us by the short & curlies, Griffen walked out on the club and we had to get whatever we could for him. Boyd wanted to go home too but would have played on if not traded

In our case, Griffen walking out initiated the conversation, in Melbourne's case it appears it's Hogan so they will get the raw end of the deal as we did
