    The Career Best Thread

I'm reminded on my childhood with grand parents that measured the height everyone who went in the house and marked it with a texta on a wall, according to the date. Presumably so they could chart how their/us young uns were developing. So I was thinking it might be interesting to do this in cyber space with such a young doggies playing group, where we can chart career best stats when they happen by date, by category and by who - as they happen in the future.

    Ie:

    T. Boyd - Goal Kicking - New Best 4 Goals - 20 June 2015 (vs Brisbane at Etihad)
    M. Wallis - Goal Kicking - New Best 3 Goals - 20 June 2015 (vs Brisabne at Etihad)
    J. Grant - Handballs - New Best 14 HBs - 20 June 2015 (vs Brisbane at Etihad)

    Hamling 8 marks
    Dale 3 marks, 1 goal
    Macrae 21 handballs
    McLean everything
    T Boyd 10 kicks, 6 marks
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

Easton Wood - New Highest Marks - 13 - St Kilda, Etihad, 27/06/2015

Seems this thread is not just for new players!

Maybe a record (career best) for the club in a year??:

8 club debuts so far: Boyd, Biggs, Hamling, Maclean, Prudden, Dale, Webb, Daniel

I sincerely hope this years 8 obliterates the quality on the entire 11. Take out Mitch, Tom & Dahl, and that's boarder line embarrassing.

Most of them recycled hacks too. We'd totally lost our way by 2011.

    Re: The Career Best Thread

Interesting all the players in 2011 debuted were under 20 (except Howard) are still playing today.

Our debuts this season have mainly been under 21 except Hamling who found it difficult in a strong Geelong team.

    Career best thread

    ie:

BT mentions Jarrad Grant in a post for the 50th time since Saturday night
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

That mean if I mention Jarrad Grant next week 51 times, that's a new career best right? But I just mentioned Jarrad Grant that sentence, so 52 next week? But I just mentioned JARRAD GRANT again, so 53 next week....
