    "They" call him The Package

We are talking Jake Stringer's nickname that Chanel #7 has bestowed upon him, as I sure you are all aware.

Chanel #7 has used it ad nauseam this season and I have detected the name is sticking in the lexicon of the general football public.

On the one hand, it is not surprising as it connotes "highlights" package or "complete" package (complete player). And that is our Jake Stringer. Every match he does the amazing.

On the other hand, "The Package" has certain, shall we say, Jacqui Lambie connotations.

I have thought about it, Stringer is without doubt the type of player who attracts nicknames. I think on WOOF, various suggestions have been put forward without any particularly taking hold.

I have decided after due consideration, balancing the pros and the cons, that I am going to go with the Chanel #7 moniker: welcome The Package.

But what are your thoughts, fellow WOOFERS? Be frank and there is no need to be constructive.

I heard someone behind me calling him The Package last Saturday. I don't like the fact that B Taylor started it.

I reckon he will be called Jake. Like Cher or Jesus or Bono. He only needs one name.

Reminds me of "The Total Package" Lex Luger. Wasn't a fan of his so that doesn't work for me and because it come from BT's tongue it makes me cringe anyway. I prefer Jesse, sorry Jake.

I'm with you guys. Definitely not a fan of BT but it's positive and exposure, two things our club can do with.

This. I call him Jake. There are very few who deserve it. Even fewer that it suits, no nicknames needed just Jake.
