Port must be spewing. They almost traded Lobbe to us for pick 11, saved his salary and could have got Gorringe in as backup to Ryder for nothing after trying to trade him in last year.
You'd have to think they would have enquired about him in discussions during trade week if they were still interested.
He is probably worth having a chat to but I don't think he is a great prospect. Doubts on his character could be telling.

I bet we pick him up either pick 51 or Rookie.
He would be a delisted FA, giving us only three live picks in the draft. Otherwise wait for the rookie draft.

No to Daw, two reasons;
- He sucks
- He might be doing HARD TIME this time next year

Yep on the last. I read the victims account in an article a while back. If that account is true and accepted by the court he will be rotting in a cell for a while, but on the flip side he might get to captain the Barwon Prison side.

Maybe why North offloaded him. He kicked 6 goals on us once? Seem to recall that game.

You'd also recall who was manning him up then. Majak turned a number of basic dropped marks into 3-4 grab chest marks because Markovic was too damn slow to keep any ground with him. Very much fool's gold.

Actually I do! I remember how far off the leash he was, thinking at the time, is anyone on this guy??

They moved Austin onto him for a while.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

Re: Confirmed Trades, FS, FA, delistings etc for all AFL Clubs 2015
There would be a couple of players I'd be interested in but it's pretty tight from a list POV it's hard to see us taking one as DFA.
Anyway just so a conversation may happen I'd be interested at these few.
- Jarred Redden. Obvious because he's a ruck and we kind of need a little depth there. Plagued by injury so could be worth a gamble.
- Alex Woodward. Another guy hit with an injury bug. ACL injury and Hawks looking to redraft as a rookie. Really like him.
- Keiren Harper. Quick forward could be of use.
I think we'll just take #51 but thoughts on these guys?

In years gone by I think there could be many valid reason to add players of this caliber but I think the positive steps we made last year means we need to look at players that cover specific needs.
Redden is a ruckman but I'd still find it hard to get him onto the primary list. Gorringe would be a better option providing we think he is focused on his football.
Woodward is an excellent VFL player who might have made it if it wasn't for all the injuries.
I don't know a lot about Harper other than he was highly regarded for a while.

I'd look hard at a key defender. Perhaps 2 key defenders if our draft picks can't cover it.

Having a look at the delisted players and obviously Gorringe has some appeal but what about Matthew Watson as a rookie list key defender? I know he hasn't done a lot but being cut by Carlton might be the kick start he needs to get serious about his football.

Didn't you use this identical pitch with Austin?
