Nothing much to worry about as far as losing any players to free agency, so who might we target?

Hooker - Would be fantastic in our backline but would cost plenty and will have plenty of suitors.

Zac Clarke - Looks like we had some interest in him this year before he re-signed. We might have another crack if he wants out of Freo.

Goldstein - Would probably have to Wayne Carey a teammates missus but we can dream.

Mitch Brown - Coming off a knee reco this year he may find himself down the pecking order at West Coast with Mackenzie (also coming back from a knee), McGovern and Schofield all battling for spots. Would be a cheap way to strengthen our KPD stocks. Alternatively if Schofield is squeezed out we could target him.

Any others that we may look at?

Cale Hooker and Nick Smith would look good in a Bulldogs jumper. Goldstein would be handy too.

Rich - Gun. If we have the cap space.
Brown boys - Little to no chance you'd imagine.
Clarke - This should be a target.
Hooker - 17 other teams will want him. Would cost a lot.
Goldstein - Would cost a lot. Would get a lot.
Wells - Norths Higgins. Always injured, top pick. New start and outside role could be great.
Watts - If he was cheap enough.

Assuming Dale, Brad & Bob retire you'd think that's $750,000+ in savings. Minno if he goes would be $450,000+. So $1,200,000 in the kitty less what's been budgeted to the pups. Plus any increase to the cap. You'd think next year we'd go real hard at free agents with up to 6 or 7 list exits and see how Michael Romero goes as a top age player.

If Wells could stay on the park he's just what we need. Smooth outside mover with elite disposal.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Hope we throw a bit at Hooker. He'd be my target

N Brown maybe - not sure about his mobility and durability though.

I wonder if Collingwood will be able to keep Sidebottom assuming clubs come with big offers? Big money going to Cloke/Pendles and a few others, but now they've got Treloar (700K?), Aish (500K?) and Howe (400K?) on the books. Clubs will be sniffing.

Chicken feed that only adds up to what Tommy Boyd is getting.

I like the idea of Sidebottom but I'm not sure he's a type we need.

Would love Rich's leg cannon in our midfield mix, so would our forwards I'd imagine.

Zac Clarke would be a good option to pursue as well - doubt very much that Goldstein or Hooker would entertain thoughts of leaving their respective clubs, but you'd be derelict in your duty not to at least make a polite enquiry.

Shane Edwards signed a new deal, so our hopes of getting a small mid/forward into our regular line-up are a little way off yet
