Mr Football
Not sure if everyone has heard this - especially the younger WOOFERs. I used to love this and listened to it over and over again.
Enjoy.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

I posted it up here because I played it for my son for the first time this morning and then told him all about the great man.

So tell me mr Whitten, mr Football if you please.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

This is my son's favourite song. He is six. He is also named Elijah John or as we call him EJ

You get a sense of his class even in that brief footage.

I was trying to get Edward Jack (my grandfather) over the line but had to put my father's name in instead as the middle name.
I'm happy with Edward (Ted) thought.

Re: Mr Football
Ted Whitten was the greatest fotballer and personality to play the game without a shadow of a doubt. We will never see the likes of him again and I was privileged to see him play for 14 years.

I reckon I did well to get Liberatore into my daughter's given names.

When my younger brother was 8 he named his 4 goldfish Barry after Fish.
A weirder sentence I have not written.

It sounds perfectly cromulent to me.

It would have been great to have been around when EJ was playing and to have met him and have a beer.
