Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
IMO we don't need Deledio. We have JJ, Bob, Suckling, Biggs, Boyd to run off the backline. I can't see us entertaining this trade for a player and pick 18...
In addition, how frequently has Deledio been injured over the last few seasons?

Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
Deledio plays anywhere. Would be great half forward option. Has a great set of hands. Only played back because Richmond needed him to. Runs through the middle, has pace, uses it well. I'd say he'd be a positive addition.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

2008-2013 he played every game
2014: 19 games
2015: 18 games
2016: 11 games
Not sure if it's a trend but 11 games this year is worrying.

Lids can play in half a dozen different positions.
The curse is dead.

Definitely not a positive trend.. How much would Deledio command for a contract?

So essentially first time injured in 9 years?

Also great kick of the ball, however, no way I would give pick 18.

Certainly no dickhead either, but I worry about his age/calves.

He's 29 and plays at least 2 years. Apparently he could have played late season but they iced him. Always been a fan but pick 18 in itself is overs.

We bring in Crameri, Cloke and Deledio next year we are flag favourites again. Do you think he adds enough over two years to go after him and does he take the spot of a Dunkley, Jong, Williams, Webb and what pressure does that put us under if these guys don't get game time over those two years?
I'd prefer not to be in a position where Lids plays and Jong / Dunkley / Mclean play limited time putting their development on the slow burner. Other clubs will circle. Lids isn't depth he'll want to play. Makes more sense for him to go to Geelong but there is no doubting he will make us a better side if fit.

Yes for sure.

If Matty Boyd retires, then lets take him for a reasonable swap and pick, but not pick 18
