Better outcome than the Dons with the pre-season draft threat

They don't have a second rounder. Their next pick is 50 after pick 10. We could ask for 18 & 64 for 10 & 50.

Koby + 18 for 10?
Then on trade Hrovat + 10 to Blues for pick 5.
Gives us a crack at Taranto who I can see Dalrymple loving.

Pick 10, Hrovat & Honeychurch, 2017 second rounder for Jaeger. That's the best offer they'll get, they can trade 10 for a gun player or keep it. They'd have 4, 6, 8 & 10.
Package picks 40 & 50 for pick 29 also. GCS go ahead in draft points.

Pick 10, Pick 32 (Hrovat), 2017 pick & Hamling and Honeychurch for Fyffe.
Pick 10, Hrovat & Honeychurch, 2017 pick for Jaeger.
Pick 10 for Rampe & Nankervis.
Pick 10 for Deledio & 25.
Keep pick 10.

They'd probably laugh at us.
18 Koby + something else decent for their & 10 but teams really hate trading down top ten picks without something significant in return.
I don't think Koby is worth that much on the open market.

I tend to agree, but they have very few options on the table.

Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
Wouldn't be surprised to see them offer us a 2017 second rounder. Although they also need to bring in Jack Steele who would likely command something similar.
Potentially it will be all together...
GWS get 18
Saints get Steele and Stevens and GWS second round (~38)
Dogs get 10

I have a feeling we will be getting a lowly 3rd rounder for Stevens....I don't think we will be snaring 10 at all

Re: The Moving Rolling De-Listing/Trading Thread 2016
Koby+ 2nd round pick for their future 1st round pick? They'd have to back themselves to make top 8 next year and if they don't then yay for us.
Maybe thrown in our future 3rd round pick?

Agree with this. No way Stevens is worth a 8 position upgrade at the early stages of the draft. The thing that might give us some hope is the saints desire to get Jack Steele as well.

Is there a player we can target at the Saints who might be gettable as part of the trade?

What about Billy Longer? Hasn't had much opportunity at the Saints (form hasn't been fantastic) but he does have a lot of potential and could be another back up ruckman.
