On Saturday night at Etihad Stadium, in an AFL club first, the Western Bulldogs will wear a jumper honouring players who served their country in a special themed ANZAC Guernsey.

The Bulldogs will be one of six AFL Clubs to wear the specially designed guernseys across the ANZAC round

Printed across the red hoop, front and back, will be the names of the many Bulldogs across the Club’s history that served their country at war.

The jumper will also carry a red poppy and the words 'Lest We Forget'.

The guernseys will not be available through retail outlets for purchase, instead the player worn guernseys will be auctioned-off with all proceeds going to the Ballarat RSL.

The Bulldogs’ round five opponent, the Brisbane Lions, will also wear a special ANZAC Guernsey

Melbourne, Richmond, Collingwood and Essendon will also wear ANZAC themed guernseys across the ANZAC Round weekend of football.
