Re: WOOF Player Awards - Round 5, 2016 v Brisbane
4. Stevens - Superb game, dominated on the inside and outside. Made some mistakes, but more than made up for it with key contributions in winning the ball, giving it off most impressively by foot and usually by hand, and defensively as well.
3. Boyd - kept on being in the right place at the right time, and a key steadying influence down back when we really needed it.
2. Wallis - not perfect, but our dominance inside was vital, and Mitch was at the centre of it for much of the game.
1. Roughead - best big man out there tonight in my opinion, and while Martin might have been hampered by last week, that is still a more than fair effort.
2. Bontempelli - keeps playing his role, and a very good sign that we don't need him to do more than that.
1. Hunter - I love how his game has now become as much about the small pressure acts as the flamboyance with the ball. Not as dominant as he has been, but still very active and important.
McLean - special mention for me. Nice to see him getting more involved and winning some of his own ball, returning a bit more to the signs he was showing before the injury last year.
Although it broke our hearts it did not break our will

Could be looking at a rising star nomination.
