It seemed our relentlessness and hardness around the ball was the constant that backed our early strategic or set-up advantage. WCE by about the ten minute mark of the second adapted to Bevo's set up, but by that time they were already cooked, with their mental effort going towards plans changing rather than going hard and wanting it more.

Or perhaps they'd prefer it to be this Sunday?

I vote BT starts the matchday thread next week. Nothing against Eastie, but why change a good thing!

Bevo, speaking about Jongy being in tears....

“I hope it’s about his injury and not because he thinks it’s his last game for the Bulldogs,” Beveridge said. “The boys are just giving him a cuddle and he’ll be fine.”

Maybe the new CEO can work on some sponsorship extensions this week....

If it means we win a flag then it isn't the worst idea

Incredible win, I've been a member since 1981 and my finals predictor dial through classical conditioning has always been set on "pessimistic". The performance last night was the best I've seen in a final since 2006; no doubt it was better. Bad finals memories are erasing ... Alastair Lynch doing the choking gesture to Scott West in 99... GONE ! Go dogs !!
