    Great choice Chicago1. Fairly close to me (L1 A33). Great atmosphere and great seats. Im planning to go early as well to watch our VFL side. You must now be really excited.

    Last night Gary Kent announced that we had 44,500 members.

    We are a long way into the season so I wonder how many more will sign up?

    Good and average news. Obviously we are up 4,000 new members, but I thought a 20% increase (48,000) was a minimum target after delivering a premiership and opening up Ballarat memberships. You'd have to think 50,000 is just out of reach. And you'd have to think what we have to bloody more to do to turn fans into members?

    There's always a late surge where it seems like the wealthy club benefactors pitch in to pump the numbers up. Happens every year.
    Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

    I would say every club that doesn't have to cap numbers due to home stadium capacity (WC, Adelaide, Port, Freo & Geelong).

    Remember the week that our former captain left and Macca got squeezed out. If you had told me then we would've won a flag and have nearly 45K members by now I would've responded with something probably best not to type.
