North offered three years? My goodness that's an extreme offer for a rookie with minimal exposed form. But wholeheartedly agree with you, good on him for sticking fat with the club for one less guaranteed year. That's a decent amount in footy time and salary. Now here's hoping we keep him forward like the last game against Richmond. There was a spark there as a forward for sure.

That was the mail I had anyway. Big term for a hugely speculative player at this point.

Thanks Ozza. Crazy to offer 3 years. I wouldn't have begrudged him at all for leaving for such an offer. But I'm happy he knocked them back. If I'm an optimist for a minute, maybe it shows he's backing himself to become a regular senior player and he likes the way the list shape is in for moving to success and the culture changing.

Just need to get the signature from Libba. Sam Power hints Campbell is staying on. Honeychurch is 99.9% certain to be delisted to free up a fourth pick to fill at the draft.

P.S. Mods this has been unstickied. If folks want me to keep updating the OP every time we do a signing I'm more than happy to, but for my ease can it be re-stickied if that's what you would like.

And then there was one for the class of 2018. Fashionably late though.

Maybe he wants to get his contract signed in tattoo form and his guy is away.

I think fans are getting frustrated with the lack of communication with Libba's contract. Not good enough to leave this to the last minute.

What? Our membership communication not up to scratch? First I've heard that...

At least we've controlled the media narrative around this well as usual so there's no wild speculation or rumours of internal division

It's incredible how shithouse we are at this type of thing. Then we scratch our head and wonder why no quality players want to come to us at trade time.

I’m not sure big name players don’t come to us because we keep everything in-house, actually I would think the opposite as a big player.

Probably more we scratch our heads and wonder why we are so reactive to almost everything that we give Barrett & Co all the ammo they need to throw shit at us across all forms of media and then scratch our heads again when the reactive clean up isn’t effective. We know the extent of our bandwagon, 48,000 members vs 70,000 for Richmond/Hawthorn after a flag. We need to be positively engaging all hard core and bandwagon members. But we are not. And if we produce another draft video like last year, words will escape me.

In the recent members survey, I had a far old crack about this. Hopefully other members did the same
