He was having his best season - and we've really missed his presence on field as the seasons gone on

I was under the impression that he was pushed into retirement.

Not sure where to post this news, but Ch7 reporting Redpath wants to retire.
Anyone can support a team that is winning, it takes no courage. But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you, that takes a lot of courage, so lets always be behind our boys and girls in red, white and blue.

Best to let him. Unfortunately his body just couldn't hold up to the rigors of AFL footy.

With respect to Redders, I hope like *!*!*!*! Macrae is in the leadership group next year.

Definitely Wally. Macrae reminds me of Griffen, an elite player with zero desire to lead or take on extra responsibility who doesn’t get involved in the in-club social side.

That’s looking from the outside ,, I’ve heard he is extremely good on the field and takes the young ones under his wing.

I’m sure the club is delighted with him overall but there has to be a reason why he wasn’t in the Leadership group this year when he’s one of a handful of players who has been in consistent form over the last 2 years, and considering the group that was chosen.
