Re: WBFC - Player Contract Status
2nd year is when players tend to recapture their best from an ACL so here's hoping. Agree with others that 2 seems a bit generous considering output over the years.
A lot of faith in Jongy and much as I want him to succeed it's line ball at best right now.

Dickson extends contract
Western Bulldogs forward Tory Dickson has signed a one-year contract extension for the 2019 season.
The 30-year-old played eight of his 96 career games this season, managing eight goals despite suffering successive hamstring injuries.
“I’m rapt to get another year at the Bulldogs and I’m excited to continue the journey,” Dickson said.
“I feel like I’ve got plenty to offer the team next season. After a frustrating season with injuries, I’m looking forward to getting back to full fitness and playing my role every week.”
Dickson has been a key part of the Dogs’ forward line since he joined the Club as a mature age recruit in the 2011 NAB AFL Draft (pick 57 overall).
He was a member of the Bulldogs’ 2016 Premiership side and has booted 157 goals in his career to date.
“Tory is a valuable member of our playing group, and his experience and forward craft will continue to be important for the team next year,” said Bulldogs’ General Manager of List and Recruiting, Sam Power.
“Tory has had his fair share of bad luck with injuries in the last two seasons, and with a consistent run next year we’re excited about what he can produce for us.”

Great work, let's get him over 100 games. Such a smart footballer and think he'll really play well if the starting zones are implemented
"Loves a scrap....oh yeah & he's a pretty handy footballer as well"

That's the key now. If we can manage him well, have him firing in 15-16 games next year, then he's going to be very important to us changing our onfield fortunes.

1 year deal is fair, one of the very few players on our list that knows where the goals are.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Happy to give him another year. He's still our best forward and when fit consistently kicks goals against the best teams. Let's hope we can get his body right.

Re: WBFC - Player Contract Status
So 6 question marks left, most of them have obvious answers:
1. Jordan Roughead: 2018 (FA) (rumoured leave: Destinations WCE or Saints)
2. Mitch Wallis: 2018 (FA) (rumoured stay according to The Age)
3. Tom Liberatore: 2018 (FA) (rumoured stay according to The Age)
4. Mitch Honeychurch: 2018 (rumoured leave: Destination GCS)
5. Tom Campbell: (likely delist)
6. Brad Lynch: 2018 (likely promote)

Re: WBFC - Player Contract Status
I'd add Bont. It'll be hell if hes not signed up this season.

Re: WBFC - Player Contract Status
Is their players that other clubs say to themselves not even worth asking about him he will never leave ?
Bont would be one of them.
Pendlebury would be one I would think.

Going to be a huge distraction for the club and i guess the Bont being wined and dined by the feeding sharks.

I agree, it gets me nervous when that happens.
