Not sure where to post but Josh Kelly has re-signed with GWS for a further 2 years with an option to extend.
May have to look elsewhere to spend the supposed Hurley/Wingard money.

That's a great retain for them. If they also retain free agents Coniglio & Tomlinson they've done well.

Tomlinson has all but said he's happy to stay.
Releasing Shiel/Lobb/Scully last year means they should have the cash for Cogs, especially if the Patton to Hawthorn salary dump rumours are true.

This seems suss as hell and might go a ways to explaining why they got the allegedly terminally injured Scully so cheap last year.

Teams under cap pressure do it all the time.
North got Ahern after two consecutive ACLs on the cheap as GWS signed him on $300k pa to try and keep their draftees together.
IIRC we paid part of Rawlings' salary when he went to North and Griff's salary in his first year at GWS. I think there was a lingering part payment for Croad as well when he went back to Hawthorn from Freo.

FIVE VICTORIAN CLUBS INTERESTED IN OFF-CONTRACT DOCKER
Fremantle wingman Ed Langdon is in demand with as many as five Victorian clubs chasing his signature, according to Fox Footy.
The report states that St Kilda, Collingwood, North Melbourne, Melbourne and the Western Bulldogs have all shown interest in luring the out-of-contract Docker back to Melbourne.
Langdon, 23, decided to put contract talks on hold with the Dockers until later in the season.
"It's probably not something I'll look to address until the back half of the year," Langdon told reporters in April.
The speedster has played 53 games for Fremantle since being taken with pick No.54 in the 2014 AFL Draft.
Ed is the younger brother of Collingwood defender Tom Langdon.

Any guesses what Freo would want for him?

Less than they gave us for Hamling, it's only fair.

As much as I detested the Hamling deal, cementing that relationship with Freo may work in our favour trying to entice Langdon over to us.

They also gave up Crozier for a fair price. We probably have more a more amicable trading relationship with them than any other club.

They probably still feel bad over the Steven Koops deal.

Crozier has been a steal he's been shit hot since he came over.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.
