    That's quite a thought , I think I fought with all my mates at one stage but somehow you became closer, great memories and lifetime friendships are built on punching each other up as kids.

    At one stage or another I did sure. But more push and shoves until somebody fell over. And there were rules-no kicking, no hitting someone on the ground and no hitting girls. You didn't want your mates thinking you were a dog.


    Actually the one time I was truly scared was when I said something silly to my best mate in a school footy match. I can still see the look in his eyes as he dropped the ball and turned on me now. He really wanted to hurt me but at least I knew I could defend myself and no one was going to pull out a weapon and no one was going to die
    Most people I played against don’t like me and I don’t blame them. I’m quite frustrating
