That is gold.....but perhaps the letter needs to go the club.
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

Yep. Needs to be addressed to Beverage, not Jake.

3AW are saying we've parted ways with Jake and he wants a trade to the Bombers or Cats.

Thats just *!*!*!*!ing great. Well done Bulldogs.

Why are you critical of the club in this instance? Do you know why strong words were spoken?

I'm critical because of how highly I rate Jake. He's not the only one whos had issues this season and I hope we aren't trying to make a statement with him.

This is going to bite us on the arse IMO.

Well they will need some very good trade offers to get him.
Not sure how Geelong can pay him and not sure Essendon have much to offer.
We will have a bidding war that will cost them overs.
I think that's most clubs have been mentioned now. Talk about the media hedging their bets, if he goes they will all jump up and down and say they knew it , if he stays they all look like idiots and shut up with no apologies for talking crap and move on to some other rumour.

I hope it bites us on the arse like the Griffen walk out did, no player is bigger than the club.

If he has walked we must ensure we get the best possible deal done
Pick 10 from Essendon has to be requested

So your criticism of the club is primarily based on your love of Jake and a mere perception that you think they might be trying to make a statement with him?

You've been a massive supporter of Bevo and have typically believed he can do no wrong and yet you appear to be giving an almighty whack to him and the club with not much more than a Dennis Denuto 'it's the vibe' to support the position.

We need to hear more about what is happening without being too critical of the club. At the moment there isn't a lot of clarity.

Yeah dunno mate, not everything seems so rosy to me anymore. Nothing wrong with being critical or disagreeing with whats happening at the club. A lot has gone wrong this year and everyone deserves a bit of criticism.

There is a lot of outside noise but no reassurance from the club on anything.
No denying of any of it is the scary part.
Although I do remember PG saying a few years ago the club will say nothing until things are done recruiting wise.
Admittedly the way the media are on us we would spend all our time discussing stuff and not get anything done!

Re: Deja Vu. A letter to Jake Stringer from a fan.

The last time i checked out BF was the day Griff walked out. Reading the comments about all the gloom and doom and conjecture did my head in...
I just checked it out again for the first time since then...Why????
Clearly I've learned nothing....and now with all that scuttlebutt in my head...clearly I am going to have to remain fall down drunk for the next month til this is all sorted...and the hyperbole done with......
I knew I should not have gone there...I knew it...
