He is still an asset though, look not happy with 2×2 but it's best we could get, I could live with that. What I'm livid about is the 2018 2nd round pick going out with the 2 picks for Jake to get #16. It's rubbish.

So we traded Stringer and our 2018 2nd Rounder for #16. We may as well of taken the "Pick 11" deal that Essendon offered us

The Carlton/Adelaide debacle a good case in point. Formal process, terms laid out, agreed and signed. Still the best check and balances process.

In terms of the draft picks we currently have vs list spots, where are we at?

Honeychurch will be delisted, but is that enough?

What club coach has come out before trade period and said we don't want X player? And then ask for decent compensation? Absolute balls up from all involved including Bevo.

Spot on! Let that sink in.

    Stringer and 2018 2nd Round (24-30??) for 16.

We had Stringer and 26 for 11 on the table!!?!

    Re: Stringer Trade Worth

I'm Not big on how high a draft pick you get , their is plenty of evidence to suggest top Ten don't make it and picks in the 30s or higher do.
Look at our premiership side rookies, picken , Morris I think even MBoyd? and blokes like Daniel, Biggs.
A club is successful by its drive culture and development.
Let's not be silly here the club would have ideas on who they want and what draft picks they need, we eyed off Crozier for 6 years and I think Trengove was on our radar last year, from what I am seeing from them to is they are very professional and were well loved by the fans and club.
I'm comfortable with bringing in talented footballers with great club mentality than a player who has definitely bought down the group.
Clubs are a team not one player and I believe we will get more out of Crozier on and off the field than just a highlight real of someone who does the amazing things but won't do the 1%ers.
A few players will probably be better again now Jakes gone if we believe some of what we hear, it's also a sign we have non negotiables and if you don't pull your weight your gone no matter how good you think you are.
    Bring back the biff

    Unbelievable.

Hope this exact question is put to the club.

In all seriousness, JMAC leaves and questions need to be asked about Grant. At what point might we ask questions about Bevo too, because his handling of this situation was putrid and on face value appears to have had as bad of a 2017 as any.

As laid out in a graphic by the Bulldogs, the trade as it stands is basically:
OUT Stringer, 28 and 2018 2nd round pick
    IN 16, 25 and 40

I thought pick 30 was also involved? So we did 16 for 2 second round selections?

    Re: Stringer Trade Worth

The only thing that is " putrid" is Stringer's behaviour . Please find some perspective .
One club was interested in a bloke who's checked out for two years .
