Re: 2017 Brownlow Medal
I don't know how much self loathing was going on. Everyone in the room seemed to ne on pretty good terms with themselves.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

2 KPF in the top 22 and no defenders. Such an irrelevant award.

Re: 2017 Brownlow Medal
Interesting that Macrae only polled 8 votes........but when I check it against the Woof votes, I notice that many games where we awarded Jack top votes, no bulldogs players polled Brownlow votes. These were typically games we lost comfortably. I suspect the B&F will be a different story.
I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.

When we win it's usually because the Bont has played well... Jack doesn't have the same affect on games, but few do.

4 out of 10. I lost interest about half way through. Inane questions, presenting done by people who aren't presenters.... And a creepy little man called Bruce.

Re: 2017 Brownlow Medal
SEN gave it a shocking review . Betting ads with the Brownlow between apparently.
Bruce being creepy, to long and just crap all round was their summary.
Even they said Bruce should be gone, had his time and now going over the top with everything.

I watched the Louis Theroux show on the ABC and kept an eye on the tracker on my iPad. That was great coverage.

I love Louis. I marvel at the way he can say offensive things to people without actually offending them.

It's a skill. I can look people in the face and say the most appalling things and get away with them. You start with "it's just a question" or by displaying an interest in things people like and asking questions they appreciate and continuing with more and more pertinent questions about their pet topic until you trot out the (rudish) question. But, hey, it's just a question, its neutral, questions aren't good or evil in themselves.
If they don't kill you at that point then you've got them.

When people help me out at work I finish with "thank you so much I don't care what others say about you your ok" the reaction of "what do they say" and look of puzzlement Is gold, it sometimes gives away they have been caught doing something and are worried about it or they thought they were popular but aren't sure now.
