1980's player a defender who played 2 seasons with us for 18 games after stints at 2 other clubs.
He later served as an assistant coach with us for 3 years during Terry Wheeler's reign.

I was going to say Darryl Griffen but the assistant coach clue has thrown me now.

    Is it Alan Mcconville?
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

No not McConville ( don't recall him). I originally was going to pick Daryl Griffin but no it is not he.
Although he was still an assistant coach with us in Griffin's 1st year.

McConville has had an interesting history. As a player he played a lot of reserves footy at Fitzroy before coming to Footscray and playing a bit of senior footy (in a bad, bad team, admittedly we were crap) under Royce Hart and Bluey Hampshire in 81/82. Dunno where he went from there but he next turns up at Fitzroy as the caretaker coach in 1995 when Mick Nunan walked out then he stands aside for Bernie Quinlan who walks out before the season was out and again McConville takes over as senior and was the last man to coach Fitzroy in a AFL match.

He's at the plastics now. He was an assistant under Cameron but now he's skills and coach of their AFLW team.

I think it's Alan McConnell you're talking about.

Ah yes.. as pee Merantau's comment you mixed your 'McC's' I think and created a hybrid monster out of the names of Allan McConnell and perhaps Peter McConville.

Not Duper. This guy was on our list in 89 and 90. Better known with North where he played 20 games.

Two part Question based on our current listed players.

    * Name the player who is the 11th highest handballer of all time WB players and is still on our list.

    * Name the current listed player who has zero handballs recorded in all his AFL games.
