Re: MRO Thread
Onya Bevo-shining a light in AFL inconsistencies (and that we seem to get the bad rub of the green with MRP).
I still think MRP potentially shortened Redpath’s career (independent of injuries which I know played a part too) - he would have played more games if it was not for appalling MRP decision. I loved big red as you can tell!!!

The AFL is so unbelievably incompetent in this area, it literally can't help itself.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Re: MRO Thread
Anyone see this? It was a bizare move by Smith and quite dangerous. Had the potential to cause serious injury to Gunston but as usual the action doesn't matter, Gunston was ok so just a fine.
Devon Smith, Essendon, has been charged with Tripping (Fixed Financial Sanction) Jack Gunston, Hawthorn, during the second quarter of the Round 14 match between Hawthorn and Essendon, played at Adelaide Oval on Thursday August 27.
In summary he can accept a $500 sanction with an early plea.
Based on the available evidence, the incident was assessed as Tripping (Fixed Financial Sanction). The incident was classified as a $750 sanction as a first offence. The player can accept a $500 sanction with an early plea.

Re: MRO Thread
Devon Smith is one of the great faux-tough dickheads of the AFL. He's also a selfish turd, as evidenced by him going for glory from 50m and torching his teammates late in the 2016 PF.

I see our favourite recidivist, Toby Green, may be up before the MRO again.
Surely they will have to install the "Toby Greene Revolving Door" at the entrance.
