Who cares? He isn’t winning the Brownlow anyway. We are only playing North and he probably needs the extra time off.

I think he's fine. I didn't even think there was any head contact on replay. Should not have been a free.

MATCH REVIEW: Swans co-captain banned for off-the-ball hit
SYDNEY co-captain Dane Rampe has been offered a two-match ban for an off-the-ball hit on Lachlan McNeil on Thursday night.
Rampe was cited for rough conduct against McNeil in the first quarter of the Swans' two-point victory over the Western Bulldogs at the SCG.
The incident in the first quarter was not picked up clearly on the broadcast.

Funny how it happened right in front of an umpire and no free kick was paid down field.

Dirty act, no where near the ball or play. Should have got 4 weeks to teach him a lesson and stop this shit behind play

I wouldn’t have thought so. McNeil only started showing symptoms after the game.
I’d be surprised if the docs actually saw the incident.

Yeah, surprised there are so many up in arms about the 2 weeks handed down. Way off the ball, blinside hit, concussion.

Well AFL propping up Swans again.
SYDNEY co-captain Dane Rampe is free to face Fremantle on Saturday night after the Tribunal threw out his two-match ban for a collision that left Western Bulldog Lachie McNeil concussed.
Rampe argued the contact was nothing more than a "football incident", declaring he hadn't deviated from his running line and that McNeil had initiated the contact.
The whole system is a joke - it really puts you off following the game.

Re: MRO Thread
That is unbelievable. Rampe clearly accelerates into a vulnerable player.
