Good; sucks that Jong was injured by Menegola but it was a textbook tackle that just had too much momentum and ended up hurting someone.

Fair result. Menegola's tackle was fine. He actually rolled him into his side Shi that his head wasn't driven.

I agree. Fierce tackle but fair.

Sure was, before that I was good looking.
The injury, a shattered nose/concussion in itself did not stop my footy so much as the knowledge that like Cameron, there are psychopaths out there assaulting you. In those days more so.

Yeh alot of bloody heroes around then, who thought they were tough. Glad those days are gone.

Sigh, Adelaide vs Geelong.
Time to barrack for my second favourite team again; knee injuries.

I think at this time it's important to remember that Tex is a ball player, isn't a dirty player, and is a ripping bloke.

I had not remembered that so was really grateful to the ch 7 commentary team for reminding me 261 times

He’s lined him up alright, almost as if he’s not a ball player or even a good bloke!

It feels a little wrong to say, but I am holding out hope for a delayed concussion so the faux tough guy gets three. If not they will find a way to let him off.

Oddly enough, in the sane game Mark Blicavs gave a perfect demonstration of what to do when a player is running with the flight of the ball directly at you, namely, concentrate entirely on the ball, and wear the hit like a man instead of 'protecting yourself' with your elbow like a coward.

Yet the commentators were calling for a free kick to Greenwood. I don't know what else Blicavs could have done short of jumping out of the way. As far as I'm concerned Greenwood caused the contact entirely himself and can wear the consequences.

Yet Majak Daw can pole-axe Bailey Williams with no eyes for the ball whatsoever in the same situation and the same commentators crack the sads when a free is paid
