I think the ultimate scenario is one where Port get a hold of Richmond, put the game to bed early and everyone (players, coach, crowd, ground staff, hotdog stand guy, local seagulls) give it to Tom all day. He snaps a number of times. Richmond get bungled out and Tom misses multiple games at the start of next year.
Oh, yeah...Tom Jonas still punches him in the throat.

Didn't know where else to post this. Basically it's an ensemble of apologies for Lynch being a wanker.

Of course the article should just plainly say that he attacks the ball hard sometimes and sometimes he's a violent dickhead that uses the protection of a football game to disrespect other athletes and assault them, in most cases when they're not expecting to be assaulted.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Talking about that hit Jacko is one tough bugger. He always gets up from any hit and he gets belted a lot. He is a tough player which probably goes unnoticed.

Yeah, Long is certainly lucky he targeted one of our toughest.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Although Jacko didn't seem to play as well after the hit. Don't blame him.

The way this unctuous turd's being canonised as the modern incarnation of Lockett triggers me no end.
Yeah he goes alright, but his pissweak off-the-ball schtick that'd be returned with interest in any earlier era does not a latter-day Plugger make. Not even Plugger-lite, champ.
Yet he tries it on safe in the knowledge backmen can only fantasise about getting away with the shit star forwards get away with (hi Tomahawk), rubber stamped by league HQ to boot.
I hope Powell-Pepper beelines him if the opportunity presents.

A bit hard to judge considering he was hit in the first few minutes and his form seemed down in the last month or so anyway.

Getting in early. Lynch will be let off on appeal following tonight's game.

Depends if they win or not. Everyone knows you would have to murder someone to be rubbed out for a grand final.

"He's probably treaded a really fine line and he's kind of going to have to learn at some stage. Hopefully it's not too late that he can sort of overcome those frustrations and be able to deal with it in a better way. But in the heat of the moment, a lot of things can happen and a lot of it goes on.
"Probably" "sort of" "kind of"
That's a lot of prevarication wrapped up in what's supposedly a glowing character reference.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I am not surprised, but someone should call them out.
If you compare the treatment of others this is an absolute disgrace.
