Wow. Two separate actions, with the second action knocking a player out. Must be a clause in his contract as AFLPA spokesman that he is no longer allowed to get suspended.

Re: MRO Thread
That's as clear a suspension as I've seen. He assessed the situation, raised the elbow and knocked a player out of the game. You can see the second action, it's clear as day. Imagine if someone like Byron Pickett did that you'd expect a hefty suspension.

I'm as big a Dangerfield fan as this board has, but that act is disgraceful.

Re: MRO Thread
Opportunistic from Dangerfield, definitely something I'd have interrogated at the tribunal given there were two actions.
Nobody's looking for a puppeteer in today's wintry economic climate.

Careless, severe and high is 3+ weeks, not taking into account GF double loading.

The footage should be preserved and used for every case that comes up next year.

The MRO will just say, "yeah but that's Danger".
I see Ben Long is trending on Twitter in relation to this matter.

Re: MRO Thread
The Long incident and the Danger incident are completely different but both should have ended up suspensions.
Long was a pre-meditated head high snipe and he only avoided 2-3 more weeks because Jacko didn't get knocked out.
Danger's was in the flow of play, the ball and player were in the vicinity, but the elbow up was a separate movement and given the high contact and force of it, should have been a few weeks.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Re: MRO Thread
Dangerfield should have been looking at 3 weeks. It was split second stuff, but he made two motions, the first a successful spoil. The second, an arm/elbow into the head of an oncoming opponent. He could have taken the hit. Choose to KO his opponent instead.
