Don't blame him (or her). Delivering a baby is the last thing anyone-mum, dad, doctor-would want to be doing on New Year's Day. Especially a second baby, the magic has well and truly gone by then!

If I remember right Brian Lake and his wife arranged for their baby to be induced so he could play finals.

I am really pissed off with the club on the season Launch. This is usually the best event of the year and they have decided to tamper with it and dumb it down. Instead of having it at Crown, with a formal dinner and players sitting at your table, they have decided to make it casual and finger food at the Convention centre. They have combined the event with the induction of players to Hall of Fame, but this could have been done at the Crown. Why tamper with a successful event that has grown from around 500 attending to well over flowing to over 1200 attending.

I am seriously thinking of not going this year.

I think that the tickets are $150 for social club members. That's about $150 too much for me right now.

Enjoyed the family day at Whitten Oval last year and keen to head over again this year for the 2018 family day and get some more signatures and watch the training. Good it is in the morning taking into account those hot days that might occur in February.

Hopefully the Bulldog museum is open at the family day. Would be great to have a look at that. Just sent them an email to the WB events department.
