Re: Injury List 2018
From Bevo:
Marcus Adams’ injury
Adams emerged from last weekend’s game against Port Adelaide with a shoulder complaint and will miss Saturday’s game against the Saints.
“It's nothing major he's just got a little bit of a weakness there and some soreness.
“He was just a bit uncomfortable yesterday at training and didn't present like he was going to be able to perform at his best tomorrow so we pulled him out. “
“He should be ok.”

Medical update: Trio of Dogs to face tests
Roarke Smith, Marcus Adams and Billy Gowers all face tests to prove their fitness ahead of Sunday’s clash with North Melbourne at Etihad Stadium.
Smith suffered an concussion in the early stages of Saturday night’s win over St.Kilda, and medical services manager Chris Bell has told westernbulldogs.com.au that the Club will be cautious with the 21-year-old before giving him the all-clear to return.
“He's come in quite well today but we'll need to be conservative in our management of Roarke over the next week,” he said.
“We'll go through our process of tests to make an accurate decision on his return to play plan.”
A rotator cuff injury kept Marcus Adams on the sidelines last week, but according to Bell he’ll come into consideration if he ticks the right boxes.
“We're going to work with Marcus this week to determine his availability,” Bell said.
“But he'd have to come back with full strength and function (in his shoulder) so we'll work through a process over the next couple of days.”
Livewire forward Billy Gowers is also close to selection, with the Club’s current leading goal-kicker recovering well for an ankle injury.
“He completed a great footy session on the weekend,” Bell said.
“He's still got a fair few boxes for us to tick this Thursday, but once he gets through those tests we'll determine his availability.”
Ruckman Tom Campbell is expected to be available after he was a late withdrawal from Saturday’s win over Frankston.

Re: Injury List 2018
No wonder we can't get Tom Campbell's plantar fascia soreness right, reading that we don't even know what it's called.

Aaaaand Boyd's back has gone from 2-3 weeks last week to 3-4 weeks this week. Typically i thought the weeks decreased with time

So he's done for the year in other words.
An injury that was considered so minor he played out the game he sustained it in, now the back half of his season is written off due to its severity. An end of season clean out of our medical team cannot come soon enough.

Re: Injury List 2018
It wouldn't be an update from 'Ding Dong' without the inclusion of 'conservative' & 'boxes to tick'.
If he remains next year can we all chip in and send him a Thesaurus?
