Would be interesting to look at all the soft tissue injuries over the past few years.

More than that though. At least 7 (8 if you count Smith) are starting 22. Our selections and form begin to make a little more sense

The same Leigh Matthews who openly wished Tom Boyd an unsuccessful career. The irony.

Re: Injury List 2018
Big Dogs facing fitness tests ahead of Swans clash
THE WESTERN Bulldogs could regain versatile big men Jordan Roughead and Jackson Trengove from injury for Saturday afternoon's clash with Sydney at Etihad Stadium.
The duo both picked up injuries in the round two loss to West Coast, with Roughead sustaining a concussion and Trengove suffering a crack in his shoulder blade after copping a knee in a marking contest.
Trengove was initially expected to miss up to three weeks, but the club's injury list states both he and Roughead need to pass fitness tests to face the Swans.
Josh Schache (calf) also needs to prove his fitness to play this week, but the young key forward is likely to play at VFL after being sidelined for the past fortnight.
That's where the good news ends for the Dogs, with running defender Hayden Crozier now expected to miss up to another month with a knee injury he picked up in the round one loss to Greater Western Sydney.
The former Docker was only estimated to miss 2-3 weeks with the medial ligament strain, but he is now unlikely to be available until round seven or eight.
Premiership forward Liam Picken is still listed as indefinite as he recovers from the serious concussion he suffered in the JLT Community Series.
Rugged forward Clay Smith is 4-5 weeks away from resuming. He has soreness in the right knee that he's had reconstructed three times.
The 24-year-old appeared hampered by his knee when training away from the main group last week.
