Support from the Ballarat Community comes at the expense of the thousands of long time dedicated members located in the Eastern suburbs of Melbourne who are a short train ride in many cases via Southern Cross station to Marvel Stadium.

I don't love it but it does remind me of a cramped and cold Whitten Oval in the 80's.
You are very brave. Went to our game against PA with max temp of 5 degrees which was a shocker at 3.20pm on a Sunday.
Three of us will go on Saturday at a far more reasonable time.

Wasn't planning on going but after last Saturday's siren i committed to going. Standing in the outer. Previously saw us beat Gold Coast there and loved standing so close to the play. Hope to convince my son to come along. They better not have all those road works like last time..

After some ticketing issues I've simply paid $7.95 for the privilege of scanning my membership and guaranteeing entry to the ground.

Contemplating whether to drive or take the train.

25km p/h S/W winds 13 degrees and showers. Just like WO in the 80s. Absolutely freezing.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

My young fella probably won't make it beyond half time again....and we live here so we're used to it.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

My boy does until half time then gets his iPad, a hotdog and a chocky to get me through the second half. What's with kids today I was standing on milk crates all day at his age.

Perfect. Definitely going now. This is going to be the 'match day experience' I pine for.
