Who's going to Ballarat?
I'll be watching Saturday's game from home having a beer or two and will be going to our next Etihad home game in Round 8
Are there any woofers going for our 2nd ever game there for premiership points. Will big for the Ballarat woofers this weekend.

Re: Who's going to Ballarat?
Went last year so I think I might watch this one at home.
They say Burt Lancaster has one, but I don't believe them.

I'm going - will have to forfeit watching the VFL team that evening as a result
Anyone can support a team that is winning, it takes no courage. But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you, that takes a lot of courage, so lets always be behind our boys and girls in red, white and blue.

Re: Who's going to Ballarat?
Does the ground have lighting? AFEL in their moronic wisdom have scheduled the Port game later this year at 3.20pm Sunday.

I think it does but not sure.
Whitten Oval definitely has now. Saw the WO lights in action last year at one of the VFL games.

I'm going. Anyone know how many showed up last year and how crowded it was?

I went last year, it was virtually a full house.
Make sure you get a ticket before you go.
I got this email from membership when I enquired:
Thank you for your email.
As the capacity at Mars stadium is smaller, you will need to purchase a ticket through Ticketmaster for the game this weekend.
If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

It was still pretty comfortable though even with the full house. But I'd definitely book seats. But I stood in the standing section for a while and it wasn't to shabby. Good line of sight to the action on the ground.
Not as good as Adelaide Oval. It's the only AFL ground I've ever stood behind the goals at but been able to clearly see what's going on in the goal square at the other end of the ground. They have got the elevation (as well as virtually everything else) just right.

What I gathered was you have to book a ticket sitting or standing.
