Yep. Let them live with their decisions like they had to with Tippett, until his last second 'retirement'. Clubs need to let them be responsible for the excessive contracts and excessive years and excessive money they throw around the club. Good players like Mitchell get forced as a result also, as a potential benefit to other clubs not letting them off the hook.

It’s well known Saint JACK BILLINGS and Roo LUKE MCDONALD are close mates. So it’s not surprising they’d have a Friday froth together... What is surprising is that they’d be joined by ex STK list manager and current WBD CEO AMEET BAINES...

The trio were seen having an in-depth discussion at an inner suburban Melbourne pub. With the Bulldogs rumoured to have substantial cap space to chase Chad Wingard and Steven May, perhaps Baines has his sights set on a younger duo, this year or in the future...

What would a trade season be without chasing May to no avail?
That said, if GCS demand a KPD in return; on talent, mature body & potential, is there much better gettable so far across the league than Marcus Adams? If he wanted to get his fresh start up there and they want him to replace May over a real fringe player or draft another kid, then there’s a nucleus of a trade idea (with more needed to get it done).

I keep thinking this. If we can manage to parlay Dahlhaus and Adams plus various steak knives into Wingard and May, while adding West the younger into the fold, we've got a lot to feel good about.

Geez if we could nab wingard AND May, that would be the best trade period in our history. Personally I reckon we’d be lucky to get wingard...at a stretch.
I will never see #16 the same!!

I wonder if Mitch McGovern is giddy with the chance of emulating his brothers success when he joins Carlton?
Other than a nice pay day I wonder what the attraction is for him?

Geez Darling is a liability under pressure, he has a history of shitting himself when it gets tough.

I hope they force a trade. Pick 19 compo would be far from ideal for WCE, not to mention if they take Roughy as a free agent it could stuff up their overall compo. Of the AFEL in their make it up on the fly compo system, they give us nothing for Roughy for it not to impact the premiers compo. Making North trade for him is best for everyone except North. Which is win-win for me.
