Re: 2018 AFL -Trade Rumours and Discussion
Is J-Mac messing with Dodoro? He's shipped off player after player for bugger all and now is sticking firm with wanting and demanding 2 x first round picks
I'm not sure last year J-Mac had the backing of our clubs trade committee 12 months ago and Essendon got one over on us.

Have avoided the news today and I've just got home to watch some NBA. Was hoping I'd bring myself up to speed with our day via this thread and it was 12 pages of other clubs seemingly getting it done and RS throwing flames. And hour and 15 to go...let's see what we can salvage.

Think we're finding out what happens when you are intentionally a pain in the ass to work with

Are we though? My gut says this is posturing and Essendon will get what they want.

My whole trade period milieu will evaporate if the Shiel(a) deal falls through.

Dodoro pulls the pin on the Shiel trade. He and the club are not willing to part with 2 first round picks

Carlton offering the first next year, circa pick 1-4.

It's interesting that Sam MacLure is saying it's done, other sources are saying there is some progress.

I was hoping we could do something with that Dahl compo pick.
Use it to get into the teens, trade it for a player or trade it for a future 2nd - anything but use it on West. Looks unlikely now.

Looks the Adams deal is done, might just be for pick 32 and something else
