Eagles will no go 12-0 with Darling and Kennedy in the side this year. Best forward combo in the comp.

Curiously, both prelims were effectively over by quarter time.

But wasn't it just great that we had two big Melbourne clubs in the prelim on the Friday night though? It's wonderful for the game.

Good football is good football.
No one seems to know what that is.

West Coast V Collingwood was the best game I've seen so far. I hope Saturday can be similar.

Darling especially is a total beast. I have no idea how you're meant to stop him short of hoping he has a bad game.

Flight a ball up over his head? Stomp your feet loudly on approach?

Re: 2018 Final Series
OK, let's talk about the Grand Final - who is going to win and why?
Is it just me, or does anyone else think that the Pies played their best game of the year last week?
I hope they win, but I fear that the Eagles have the defenders to prevent Cox and deGoey having similarly great games this weekend.
The fight is here; I need ammunition, not a ride.

Collingwood, because they look desperate and hungry like we did in 2016 and the Tigers did last year.

Footsteps Darling. Got a bit to prove still.

Yeah, but I'm being a bit tongue in cheek. He's a pretty good player these days.
But we'll always have footsteps gate.

In hindsight, Richmond's form has been average late in the season - beat Geelong and us by under a kick, beat Essendon by 9 points. They were just going and tonight they got schooled by a superior team who were very well organised.
Was enjoyable seeing Rance go all Goddard with his traffic cop finger pointing routine every time he was out-marked.
Richmond fell over the line against us in the last round after we hit the post 3 times in the last quarter, I've never seen us hit the post 3 times in one quarter, let alone the last quarter of a match we lost by less than a goal. When Dimma's reaction was just to shrug his shoulders and virtually say "oh well, we will bring it when it counts" was exactly the wrong reaction. He should have said "oh shit we are in real strife going into a finals series on the back of that form" and it wasn't week one of their trouble, they have been faltering for weeks.
I've never been a Rance fan, ever since that game he spent more time arguing with members of the crowd than tending to his opponent.

Neither. Ideally you follow up a flag with another flag. Anything else is a failure.

Yep, it was really starting to get on my nerves that bulldog people were comparing Melbourne and us. Come on, Melbourne were gifted everything-coach, players, administrators, money-by the AFL whereas the AFL did everything they could to stop us winning and when we won anyway we were punished for it. Third man up went (apparently to protect ruckmen, it's funny we don't have the same concerns for players in other parts of the ground (forwards, defenders) being subjected to third man up in marking contests but evidently it's only important to stop tactics that benefit us.

Apparently Taylor Adams got right into Toby Greene's face on Friday night. Being an ex teammate he knew where the bodies were buried and exactly how to push Greene's buttons. That information needs to be spread around the AFL toot sweet.

I've actually come around to Taylor Adams. I even feel dirty saying it, but he's a good player and seems to have cleaned up his game a bit.
Plus, anyone that slates Greene is a bit ok by me.
