It'd be nice if Gawn won. About time that a dominant ruck was up there and he's playing the old Scott Wynd style that got Wynd a brownlow.

Herald Sun Brownlow predictor has Macrae finishing 10th with 21 votes. Mitchell wins with 30 ahead of Dusty on 28 and a glut of players on 24-22 votes. Could have been a top 3 finish if he hadn't have got injured. Great effort considering how ordinary we were for large parts of the season.

He was the guy Gary Buckenara accidentally read the registration number of in the 2004 draft when he meant to read Lance Franklin's number. Nice he is getting a invite to the Brownlow all these years after almost being drafted by mistake!

Love it if Gawn or Grundy got up.

They are technically midfielders so they're eligible.

It really is the most irrelevant award. Zero to nil interest in it every year.

I'll raise you with GC's. Does Lachie Weller get a gig because it was part of his trade contract?

Dusty wins - back to back.
What should I tell her? She's going to ask.

Trengove should replace McLean and take Wingard as his date.
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Thought the same thing. They lack any resemblance of elite talent.
