Re: The Chad Thread
There are still considerable dominoes in play and I wonder if a few clubs are stalling and hedging their bets.
No Shiel deal and apparently it is not going swimmingly because, you know, Essendon. Do Hawks stall and see what happens if he was their #1 preference?
May apparently touring our joint. Do we stall if Wingard is our #1 preference?

We are all willing to pay Bont as much as he needs to stay, but in reality his last 2 years haven't been any where near the standard of the 2 that proceeded.

Don’t agree that his last two aren’t ‘anywhere near’ the two years prior. We have higher expectations for him now.
But 2017 his numbers were far superior to 2015, and comparable to 2016. Undoubtedly 2016 was his best year to date, but he was still excellent in 2017 - in a much worse performed side - and finished with 19 brownlow votes (20 in 2016) in a side that only won 11 games. I know numbers and votes aren’t the whole story - but to say he isn’t anywhere near that form isn’t right. Much like what I’be described as the ‘fake news’ of Wingard having 2 ‘down’ years, which is also nonsense.

Re: The Chad Thread
Just arrived in my inbox from a close Port mate
Sorry I'll try to resolve this having some trouble putting up the second page.
But then again, I'm an Internet poster and Bevo is a premiership coach so draw your own conclusions.

Seems legit - and I'm glad we missed out if that's the case.

It doesn't sound like sour grapes at all it sounds like resignation.

That one has been flying around a bit since he nominated Hawks. Was posted earlier a couple times (not as images though)

Well, I can't wait for Chad to spill his side to the story, as promised.
If legit, it squares with talk of Port being privately furious at his Instagram carry on too.

Not sure it's in the same category as Stringer...……..

Re: The Chad Thread
On the Nandos scale I'd say Wingard is mild or medium and Stringer was hot
