God Bailey is going to be a beast. I can see why were we so interested in him so many months out from the draft.

Bailey Smith, in game sim, giving a shout out to all the rappers on the West Coast.
Respect.

I'm on board with you. When you have natural talent like he has combined with elite professionalism its a deadly combination.

"Burst speed". Now look at his quads.
He's incredible. I think his ceiling is higher than Walsh who I thought was the best player I saw at the champs. Just has the extra speed and is a better kick, Walsh finds the ball easier but you draft for ceiling not production (e.g. the Bont)

Gold Coast did well in a practice game vs Lions.

What do we expect this Sunday?

I thought his kicking had been shaky in the two preseason games so far?

There were a couple of bad kicks clearly due to pressure (partly perceived) causing him to rush. Against St.Kilda he had a beautiful kick that landed onto a forwards chest which is hopefully more indicative of his actual skill level and what we can expect in the future when he adjusts.

Re: Preseason Training - 2019
I was there Easty. Some observations: Bonti, Schache and Zaine ran laps, the following numbers were absent: 1, 6, 17, 21, 23, 24, 25, 28, 31, 38, 39, 42, 44. I seen English in the car park as I was leaving - looked like he had been at the local pool for a swim (as had towel draped around mid-drift).
Naughton trained with a fwd group and practiced goal kicking at one stage with other potential fwds including Richards and Maclean..
I’m going out on a limb and selecting Roberts to play if Buddy is fit.
Dickson looked in good shape (does he replace Gowers?)
Anyone can support a team that is winning, it takes no courage. But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you, that takes a lot of courage, so lets always be behind our boys and girls in red, white and blue.
