Sure, and if he gets another knock and it kills/permanently disables him you're also a long time dead. I know that sounds dramatic but it's a real risk. I'd expect a guy as highly regarded as him wouldn't have a problem having a future in footy.

I'm just really worried about him.

Planning to go the family fun day in a few weeks at the Whitten Oval to watch some training. Hopefully I’ll be able to meet Twodogs there this time round.

I agree. He's a family man first and a footy player second, some things are more important.

I love him but if it’s a worry for us fans I can only imagine what it’s like in his inner circle.

Picken won’t have an issue with employment after football provided he is mentally capable, he’s well educated and has had work experience i think in government/defence/consulting.

I was wondering if I would take that job if it was offered to me. It would be awesome working for the footy club and being outside at training and all that but I dunno that my old bones would stand up to it anymore.

I'm probably too competitive anyway. I just couldn't stand there and take it.

    Re: Preseason Training - 2019

Does anyone know if the Bulldog's training sessions are open to public viewing?

In the past couple of years, they have not been, so wondering if this is the case this pre-season. (Thought I might wander down on a day off to see the new recruits pre Xmas).
Anyone can support a team that is winning, it takes no courage. But to stand behind a team, to defend a team when it is down and really needs you, that takes a lot of courage, so lets always be behind our boys and girls in red, white and blue.

It's a bit of a tricky one Smads. I've normally just gone and entered the ground from the Café but I believe on occasions we have enforced a closed session. The club needs to do a bit better job of letting the fans know which sessions are open
