Don't know you can claim Griff was clearly superior to Delidlio

Griff rang rings around Deledio when they played each other but Deledio probably had the better year

Caleb Daniel got ripped off too which hasn't been mentioned yet
If you kicked five goals and Tom Boyd kicked five goals, Tom Boyd kicked more goals than you.

I have a feeling the club is managing him pretty closely from a psychological perspective. Such an intense kid I reckon they know dropping him wouldn’t be taken well, whilst having confidence his upside would emerge and he’d impact. Just a theory and delighted w the way he’s playing now

Bailey's body language looks good although I haven't seen the Lions game. So maybe you're right AshMac and he sees himself as ready to play in the ones barring injury. I always thought Griffin could have won a brownlow. Injury and a broken or absent heart prevented him.

He will get rested at some stage I would think .
18 year old playing in the middle is asking a lot for a whole year.
Would like to see him up forward because I think his pressure is very good.
    Bring back the biff

In his presser Bevo said Smith played his role well...he didn't elaborate further as to what his role was.

Caleb actually had a decent player beat him though.

Bont was far, far superior to Taylor in any measure except games played.

Was also robbed of goal of the year as well.

That was the bigger rort for mine. Still one of the greatest goals in AFL history if you ask me.

Maybe the judges looked at it and said "naaaah it was only James Frawley that he was up against"

He picked up something like 8 tackles which is phenomenal for a kid struggling to get into a game.

    Bont 16 games v 22 Taylor.
    15 goals v 12
    55 tackles v 44
    4 Brownlow votes v 0

Smith will get one eventually if he plays most of the year. They tend to give those deserving that haven't got one through a big performance later in the season.

It was as clear a case of rigging as there's ever been. The word that the fix was in permeated through the football and betting industries so quickly and clearly.
