Yes it is in Gippsland, no it is nowhere near the East Gippsland bushfires burning hundreds of kilometres away. Gippsland is a big place you know. Melbourne people
I had an overseas friend check in on me today to make sure we were ok and offered their place (in Germany) if needed....I live in Ballarat
Our 1954 premiership players are our heroes, and it has to be said that Charlie was their hero.

Haha, they must think we have all been driven into the sea by now.

I saw someone locally ask if it was safe to go to Phillip Island. Never ceases to amaze me that people use the internet to ask a question they could easily answer themselves using said internet.

Twitter has convinced me that most Americans think we spend almost all of our time standing on chairs or otherwise avoiding the nasty beasties that are everywhere just waiting to take a piece out of you.

The other day I said that I'd much rather face down a funnel web or a redback instead of a lunatic with a gun and that I could't remember the last time a snake or a crocodile walked into a shopping centre and killed 35 people inside 30 seconds. I'd had enough rubbish for that day.
Have you been reading those Roddy Doyle books again, Dougal!?

You know the answer to that is more guns, so we actually need more crocs, snakes and spiders.

Heh! They aren't proper Australian saltwater Crocs though. Just pretend crocs!

    And Crocs aren't the main problem anyway;

I can't believe that the ADF managed to lose the only domestic battle they have ever been involved with TO A BUNCH OF EMUS!!!!!

Please don't turn this into a discussion about the Hunter incident.

Enjoy Bailey's highlights for 2019 - the kid is special.

    What's his ceiling?

Do we think he can become our best mid?

He is ridiculously strong for a kid that doesn't look that strong.

    No.

Second best. Behind Bontempelli. Marcus is a freak. Bailey would become the best mid at quite a few clubs though.

Baz's ceiling is Selwood with a bit more outside dash and a much less punchable head.

He's that rare mix of high-end skill, hardness and dare that'll see him turn the outcome of games in due course.

    Can. Not. Wait.
